Milo back at Mark's.....

Milo went back to Mark's yesterday. He's in great physical shape and definitely well rested and ready for the season ahead.

He's spent the winter going on long hacks and doing some simple schooling sessions on the flat. He's had plenty of treatments from his physio (Susie) and from Annabel Jenks his long-time osteopath.  His vet thinks he's in the best shape he's ever been in so fingers crossed that he stays fit and well as his workload slowly increases.

As usual he settled in quickly at Mark's despite being given a new stable this year - he now has a lovely view of the outdoor arena - perhaps the beautiful and relaxed dressage moves executed by the other horses will inspire him !

Mark is aiming him at Badminton again this year and doesn't plan to do too much in the way of competitions beforehand. He might run at Belton and perhaps one or two others but as soon as we know his schedule we'll update the blog.

He's still on the NZ team short list so he might get to go to some of the team training sessions this spring which should be interesting to watch.

This is Milo grazing at home last Autumn.... probably wondering what all the fuss is about....
