Milo did his dressage test today at 11.30. Despite some nice early trot work he didn't really manage to contain himself and ended up with 67.8. He did however get three 7s for his first flying change, a big improvement on previous marks. He's not last but he's not far off!! We are now officially competing for the trophy given to the horse that improves the most after the first phase!
We've walked the course today and on first impressions it doesn't seem like a true 4* test. Sadly this is not good for milo, we'd like to see it a bit tougher allowing his jumping talent to show through.
All that said the weather is great and its a real privilege to be here and we're having a fantastic time. Off now to get changed for the cocktail party in the big house. More tomorrow....
