I've just walked the 3* course here at Hartpury. It's beautifully presented and a great viewing course and it's big!!
Right from the beginning it seems to me that it's a bold, galloping course. There are 2 good hills (which will favour the horses with stamina ) and 2 serious water jumps. All in all it does look like an excellent pre-burghley course.
My only worry is that the ground seems quite firm. I'm sure the team here are aware of this and I've already seem the irrigators out on the course. A good dose of overnight watering will make all the difference I'm sure.
